MCDONOUGH, Ga. – The Bennett Family of Companies hosted the 44th Annual Symposium from February 29th to March 3rd where agents and employees traveled from all over the world to Chateau Elan Winery and Resort in Braselton, Georgia, celebrating many accomplishments and the company’s 50th year in business. Over 650 people enjoyed many aspects of Symposium including Advisory Board Meetings, Business Development Meetings, Breakout Sessions, Networking Events, a Welcome Reception, Corporate Initiatives and an Awards Banquet and Dinner.
As guests arrived at Chateau Elan on Thursday morning, the Bennett Family of Companies and Agent Advisory Board meetings took place allowing many discussions regarding the company’s 50 years in business and what the future holds.
“
In our expanded two-day format, Thursday was all about getting input from our Agents through our Agent Advisory Board Meetings and Friday was about educating and recognizing agents. At the Board Meetings, Business Leaders answered the tough questions on how we can improve operations through the next year to help our agents grow and thrive.”
Kris Rzepkowski, Vice President, Marketing and Communications
“Our Friday “Morning Show” Business Development Meeting helped get everyone on the same page about the many capabilities offered through Bennett’s 14 operating companies. After announcing revenue awards for Agents and Regional Managers, we got back to business in the afternoon breakouts, sharing the business unit priorities for 2024 and hearing agents’ business objectives for the year.”
Kris Rzepkowski, Vice President, Marketing and Communications

Bennett Motor Express, Ace Doran, Ace Doran South West, Bennett International Logistics, Bennett Heavy and Specialized, Bennett International Transport and BridgeHaul gathered together, discussing key aspects of their roles and services. Saturday morning, the Radio Nemo show broadcasted from Symposium while general session took place. Later in the afternoon, guests participated in Corporate Initiatives including Branding, Technology, Culture and Safety. Saturday evening was spent enjoying the celebratory Banquet and Dinner where individuals were awarded for their accomplishments in 2023 and Marcia G. Taylor, Owner and CEO of the Bennett Family of Companies, shared her heart and thankfulness for 50 years of Family, Faith and Freight.
“Bennett is an industry leading provider of logistics and one of the best places in America to work. Not many companies survive 50 years of service and even fewer recognize all who have made and continue to make an organization so special. Each year, we do this, but this year the family acknowledged those who are no longer present but who had their handprints on this company. It was wonderful to celebrate those of the past of those of present.”
David Pittman, President and CFO, Bennett Family of Companies
“
The 50-year story of the Bennett Family of Companies and how Marcia Taylor built and has led the company, is an inspiration to everyone who learns about it. To have been a part of that story for 47 of Bennett’s 50-year history has been one of the most gratifying aspects of my career. It was an amazing honor to have been recognized at Bennett’s 50th year celebration and Symposium and I am truly grateful”
Rod Meadows, J.D. Garrison Award Recipient
