RoadMasters Displays Its Capabilities of Delivering the American Dream Through Transporting Modular Housing to Washington, D.C.

MCDONOUGH, GEORGIA (May 31, 2024) – Taking place June 7 – 9, 2024, the National Mall just south of the White House will transform into a housing hub for the fourth year in a row. RoadMasters, a division of Bennett Truck Transport, LLC will be participating for the second year through transporting a unit built by Fleetwood Homes, a Cavco Company. This home will travel from Rocky Mount, VA through Fredericksburg, VA and finally to D.C. and is the first nationally available duplex approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The HUD Innovative Housing Showcase is a public event aiming to spread awareness of affordable housing designs and technologies to increase housing supply, lower the cost of construction, increase energy efficiency and reduce housing expenses for owners and renters. Many manufactured housing companies and transporters participate in this showcase allowing White House employees and representatives from various government agencies to explore and continue to better the housing sector in America.

RoadMasters’ participation in this showcase aims to aid the American people in obtaining housing by transporting a manufactured home for display that speaks to various individuals, increasing awareness and pushing progress in the manufactured and modular home sector.
