2017 Bennett Woman Driver of Excellence Award Recipient

Loretta Parker began her career with Bennett’s Truck Transport division (BTT) as an escort for her late husband, Larry Parker. Larry was an owner-operator who pulled oversized manufactured homes for 36 years.

For 26 of those 36 years, Loretta escorted Larry on the weekends while serving as as the Magistrate Judge of Coffee County, GA during the week.

When her husband passed away in November of 2015, both Loretta and her son, Shane Parker, chose to stay leased on with BTT as drivers.

Loretta is now a truck owner with BTT and we are very grateful for her dedication, honesty and hard work. We are truly proud to have Loretta be a part of the Bennett family.

Ace Doran/Bennett driver Kim Pearce is no stranger to adversity. Her positive attitude and perseverance has never wavered, even when faced with a devastating breast cancer diagnosis. Having gone through chemo treatments along with all the difficult side effects, Kim is now cancer-free and not once did she allow her illness to destroy her work ethic and ability.

Sandy Rogers makes up one half of the “Rogers Duo,” a name she proudly shares with her husband and teammate, Bob Rogers. Sandy and Bob have been hauling government secured freight for Bennett for 9 years but have driven professionally for 36 years.

Sherry Nations has been a driver with Bennett Distribution Services (BDA) for three years. Her continued commitment to safety has made her an exemplary driver within the company. She completed over 150,000 miles over the past two years with zero at fault safety issues.
