Oil prices steadied on Wednesday, surrendering early gains after data showed further increases in U.S. shale supply and a rise in Iranian exports.
Concerns that the United States will reimpose sanctions on Iran continue to underpin the market.
A surprise build in U.S. crude inventories was largely concentrated on the U.S. West Coast.
