A handful of one-day losses is putting the oil market on pace for its worst month in two years.
Big swings in oil prices this month have often correlated with headlines emanating from the White House.
On Tuesday, U.S. crude was down more than $1 a barrel to about $69, on pace for a roughly 7 percent decline this month.
