* Crude inventories swell by 7 million barrels, compared with analysts’ expectations for an increase of 2.3 million barrels last week.
* Gasoline stocks fall 7.7 million barrels, compared with analysts’ expectations for a 2 million-barrel drop.
* Supplies from OPEC dropped by half a million barrels a day in March to a four-year low.
