Loves COVID-19 Update March 25
Mar 26th, 2020 by loren
To our valued fleets,
Our goal is to continue to keep you updated during the constantly evolving COVID-19 crisis to help support your teams who are doing their part to keep the country moving during this challenging time.
We wanted to make you aware that Love’s store number 636 in Nowata, Oklahoma, is temporarily closed due to a positive case of COVID-19. This is our first confirmed case as a company. The safety of our employees and customers is our top priority, and we have taken the following steps:
- We have hired a professional cleaning team to disinfect the store during the closure.
- We have directed other employees who were in close contact with the team member to self-quarantine for 14 days or until medically cleared.
- We have taken the COVID-19 matter very seriously and implemented numerous procedures and protocols in the stores to try to keep customers and employees safe.
- We continue to adapt to changing local mandates and safety protocols to help ensure that your drivers have access to food options throughout the day.
We will notify you when this location reopens. Currently, all other Love’s locations are open to customers.
As reported to you yesterday, diesel availability remains unchanged at this time, and all stores are fully stocked and operational. Our team at Musket, Love’s fuel trading and logistics arm, is closely monitoring any potential impacts to supply in the coming weeks as a result of the decline in gasoline demand and the associated impact on diesel fuel supplies.
Thank you again for your valued partnership.
We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and follow the guidance of federal, state and local health officials. We will keep you informed of this ever-changing situation.
