Dear fleet customer:

Love’s has developed an internal task force to monitor the increasing effects of the Colonial Pipeline shutdown. This is an ever-changing situation that we are maneuvering in real time to keep our stores adequately supplied with fuel. Locations in the Southeast continue to be areas of concern for fuel outages because of increased tension on supply and rising fuel demand. Currently, Love’s cannot predict how long these outages will continue. This article from CNBC gives you some direction of what to expect from the outages in the coming days.

To alleviate these concerns, Love’s continues to leverage its substantial resources to keep your drivers moving. Love’s will update you via email as new information becomes available.

The following Love’s locations are experiencing intermittent fuel interruptions. Please check loves.com/fuelupdates for more frequent fuel updates throughout the day between direct fuel emails.

Georgia Excise Tax

Love’s is in close contact with the Georgia Governor’s office regarding the executive order, which was passed May 10, 2021. The order suspends the collection of motor fuel and diesel fuel taxes required by Code Section 48-9-3. Because the racks in Georgia are running out of fuel, Love’s is hauling fuel in from bordering states. Love’s is also in discussions with those bordering states to discuss how Georgia’s tax relief will be handled. Love’s will review options for how to address this executive order.

Love’s greatly values your partnership.

Thank you,
