- Oil prices reversed earlier gains in choppy trade on Tuesday, falling as American shale oil output surged and the U.S. stock market pulled back.
- A government forecast on Monday showed U.S. shale oil output is expected to rise to a record 6.95 million barrels per day in April.
- Libya said loadings of crude oil at a key port had been suspended.
