BME Drivers Share Insight with Mutha Trucker News on Today’s Freight Market

Bennett Motor Express (BME) owner-operators, Daniel and Phyllis Snow with Snow Trucking recently attended the 75 Chrome Shop’s 25th Annual Truck Show Extravaganza held on April 28-30, 2023, in Wildwood, Florida. During the show, they were approached by “Mutha Trucker News” to speak on the current state of the freight market.

Since the beginning of this year, the team drivers have only been home one week. The couple shared how it is very hard to find freight and be able to make a living without putting in the extra hours out on the road in today’s market.

Daniel and Phyllis Snow have been in the trucking industry for over 43 years. They recently joined on with Bennett Motor Express and shared a few reasons why they enjoy being a part of the Bennett family.

“It is hard right now out there. Owner-operators are really struggling. That’s why we partnered with Bennett because they are helping us and other truck drivers.”

Daniel “The Goose” and Phyllis Snow, BME owner-operators with Snow Trucking, recently spoke to Mutha Trucker News on today’s freight market.

The Snows learned of Bennett through their relationship with Tony Justice, All-American country music artist and truck driver. Bennett is a sponsor of Tony Justice this year as he attends an eventful tour of truck shows across America while also promoting his upcoming new album, “Greatest Shifts.”

“I’ve been trucking for over 43 years, and this is the hardest I’ve ever seen it. We had heard of Bennett for a while from our dearest friend, Tony Justice. We are so touched by the things Bennett does to help the little guys.”

Tony Justice has also been in the trucking industry for a long time and stopped by to join in on the conversation. He adds, “That’s what is so great about your company (Bennett Family of Companies). It is a family-owned company, and it doesn’t just stop in the office, it flows over to the drivers. That’s what really attracted me to Bennett. We wanted to make sure that we partnered with someone that was genuinely passionate about the trucking industry. They take care of the drivers they have.”
