Bennett Owner Operator Wins Truck Giveaway in 2020 Safety Contest

October 2, 2020

MCDONOUGH, GEORGIA., (October 2, 2020) – Bennett Motor Express (BME) driver Andrew Sparks of Yankton, South Dakota, is the winner of the 2020 BME /Ace Doran safety contest.

In July of 2019, BME/Ace Doran offered a contest to their drivers and owner-operators to win a grand prize of a new Ford F-150 pickup truck by receiving Bennett points throughout the year based on safety criteria being met.

As the winner of the 2020 Bennett safety contest, Sparks won the Ford F-150 pickup after demonstrating that Safety Is Priority One while out on the road at all times. He had 26 clean inspections, joined safety meetings and calls held and had no violations/accidents.

Keith Copeland, VP of Safety at Bennett, and David Lowry, CEO of Bennett Motor Express, presenting Andrew Sparks with the keys to his new Ford F-150 pickup truck.

“We are very proud of Andrew and his accomplishments this past year, and we’re thankful and proud of all of the drivers that worked hard to get clean inspections and joined in on the safety meetings and calls to make this a good competition.”

said Keith Copeland, Vice President of Safety with the Bennett Family of Companies

“After I found out I won the grand prize, I told my son and he wanted the truck to be blue since that is his favorite color. He was very happy when I showed up at home with a blue truck! I couldn’t be more happy to have won this year’s safety contest and will continue to put safety as priority one.”

said Andrew Sparks, BME driver and winner of the 2020 safety contest
