ATLANTA, April 16, 2010
Specialized freight transporter Bennett Motor Express (BME) today launched “Drive 4 BME”, a new nationwide recruitment campaign to lease on more than 200 new owner/operators in 30 days.
The McDonough, Ga.-based company will kick-off the program today at headquarters with a live webcast to its recruitment center in 12 states, followed by a live broadcast of the company’s new XM radio station 171 advertising spots, and end with the debut of a new recruitment website, www.drive4bme.com.
BME President and campaign spokesperson David Lowry will join some of the company’s 574 employees to promote “Drive 4 BME”. The 30-day campaign aims to add qualified owner/operators to the company’s five divisions, while also focusing on retention of its 600 drivers. “Owner/Operator retention and recruitment is key to our strategic growth, and I believe our strong safety and family culture give us a competitive advantage in recruiting professional owner/operators,” says Lowry.
