We look for inspirational organizations that embody the values and beliefs that are at the core of the Taylor Family Foundation. We encourage and support collaboration among our grantees to maximize the donated resources to sustain programs and achieve the desired outcome.
By partnering with non-profits worldwide, we hope to enrich community life by offering our team of volunteers a way to participate as we stand up for underprivileged people, enhance needed services, and offer pioneering solutions to social and economic problems.

Since 1974, The Bennett Family of Companies has always been driven by a belief in the power of philanthropy to create a positive impact. Marcia and Mike Taylor established the Taylor Family Foundation in 2012. The foundation commits a portion of the family business profits towards funding grants for nonprofit organizations and associations that strive to make a difference in communities nationwide.
The foundation is a family affair, with the Taylors’ children and grandchildren serving on the board committee. As a private family foundation, our mission is to promote and preserve our values and traditions by supporting the preservation of Christian faith, family values, quality education, quality healthcare, and American heritage for all.
The Taylor Family Foundation meets regularly to allocate a portion of Bennett’s earnings to support charities nationally and globally, focusing on 501(c)(3) nonprofits. The emphasis lies in supporting organizations aiding women, children, and those in poverty, with strong community ties and a positive impact. They also contribute to the nonprofit sector through community funds and intermediary organizations that drive social change.

Wreaths Across America (WAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of “Remember, Honor, Teach”. Its aim is to honor our fallen heroes, educate our youth and their communities, and remember the sacrifices made and the freedoms we enjoy as a nation. Each year, on National Wreaths Across America Day in December, WAA coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at over 3,400 locations across the United States, at sea, and abroad.
The Bennett Family of Companies and the Taylor Family Foundation have played a critical role in the success of this mission since 2017, raising funds, equipment, and volunteers to haul over 85,742 wreaths to the Andersonville National Cemetery.
Bennett has a strong history of supporting the military and veterans, with a significant number of our employees, drivers, and customers having military service backgrounds. This shared value of patriotism has forged a special relationship with WAA. Besides financial donations, Bennett proudly contributes to the mission of WAA by volunteering to gather and transport wreaths from Columbia Falls, Maine, to the Andersonville National Cemetery in Georgia. These truck driver teams are affectionately known as the “Rolling Ambassadors.”
Bennett’s aim to support WAA’s mission does not stop at hauling wreaths. Since 2018, Bennett was first to bring the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit to their local community. The exhibit educates people about our nation’s history and the sacrifices that were made to defend our freedoms.
In 2021, WAA honored Bennett Family of Companies with the James Prout Spirit of Giving Award. This award recognizes companies that have gone above and beyond to support the organization’s mission to remember, honor, and teach.
In 2022, the Bennett Family of Companies included a special ceremony and wrapped trailer honoring the 13 service members lost in Afghanistan on August 26, 2021.
Bennett achieved its goal of covering every gravesite at the Andersonville National Cemetery with 20,500 wreaths for the holidays. This result represents the shared commitment to preserving the memory of our fallen heroes and the sacrifices they made.
The Bennett Family of Companies and the Taylor Family Foundation’s contributions have been instrumental in the success of WAA’s mission. Their shared values have motivated the teams to work together towards honoring our fallen heroes, educating the youth, and remembering the sacrifices made for us to enjoy our freedoms. Through this partnership, both Bennett and WAA demonstrate their unwavering commitment to giving back to the community and our nation’s future.
Bennett Family of Companies is proud to partner with Truckers Against Trafficking to empower our workforce to take action and save lives through offering all associates in our family of companies a specialized training to recognize and report human trafficking.
Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) exists to educate, equip, empower and mobilize members of the trucking, bus and energy industries to combat human trafficking and modern day slavery. TAT recognizes that members of the transportation and energy industries are invaluable in the fight against this heinous crime. As the eyes and ears of our nation’s highways, truckers are in a unique position to make a difference and close loopholes to traffickers who seek to exploit our transportation system for their personal gain. Truckers Against Trafficking is raising up a mobile army of transportation professionals to discover and disrupt human trafficking networks by assisting law enforcement in the recognition and reporting of human trafficking, in order to aid in the recovery of victims and the arrest of their perpetrators. The good news is this program is effective. Through TAT’s work with corporate partners like Bennett, victims of sex trafficking are becoming survivors, and their exploiters are being arrested and prosecuted.
