First Woman Executive to Receive Award Recognizing Logistics and Transportation Excellence
The National Defense Transportation Association (NDTA) has named Marcia G. Taylor, President and CEO of Bennett International Group as their 2012 National Transportation Award Winner. The award recognizes senior executives in the logistics and transportation industry who have made exemplary contributions to the industry. This will mark a historic year for the NDTA, as Marcia G. Taylor represents the first female recipient of the esteemed award.

I am honored and humbled to receive the NDTA National Transportation Award. For me, it represents one of the biggest opportunities we have to serve and support our men and women who are fighting for our country every day and making the ultimate sacrifice for us. I am thankful to be the first woman to receive this award and proud to have some of my family that are involved in the company here with me to accept it. We will carry this award back to Georgia and share it with all the folks there – who really do the work and made it possible for me to be here to receive this award.”
